Service personnel from Headley Court rehabilitation centre were guests at the Dunkirk Little Ships' annual Thames Cruise.

Veterans from the Falklands campaign also joined them as part of a two day event starting at the Thames Motor Yacht Club at Hampton Court.

On the following day Prince Michael of Kent, the Association of Dunkirk Little Ships' Honorary Admiral joined World War II veterans for another Thames cruise.

Earlier a spokesman said:"The association is very proud to be holding our annual Veterans' Cruise over two days September this year. The two days will have a very different feel [than usual]"

On September 15th - the Defence Medical Reahbilitation Centre Headley Court and Falklands guests were taken on a cruise downstream through Teddington Lock to Eel Pie Island and back.

On the following day September 16th the association held its traditional Veterans Cruise hosting over 80 Veterans from WW2 and their carers on board the Little Ships. This trip headed downstream towards Kingston, around Raven's Ait and back upstream through Molesey and Sunbury Locks to Weybridge Mariners Club.
