Ten 'stars' of the feature film Dunkirk – in cinemas from next week – will be among the attractions at this year’s Thames Traditional Boat Festival at the weekend.

The Dunkirk Little Ships which include  Hilfranor, Mimosa, Nyula, and Riis 1, plus six others are just some of the expected 200 vessels of all sizes at Fawley Meadows, Henley, from July 14th – 16th.

The preserved vessels feature in the new film starring Kenneth Branagh, Harry Styles and Cillian Murphy

Dunkirk Little Ships are stars of the new feature film
The Thames festival is the world’s largest gathering of traditional river and has  attracted craft 
ranging from coracles and canoes to a Victorian steam cruiser, boats of special historical interest, including the only WWI torpedo boat still afloat.

The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight (including a WWII Dakota) and the WW1 Display
Team bi-planes and tri-planes will fly past, and military and amphibious vehicles from
past decades will also be on display. 

The Royal Row Barge, Gloriana, built for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, will be the centrepiece for the whole three days and visitors will be able to purchase tickets at the event to cruise down the Thames on her.
